Dr. Ken Anderson, MD, FISHRS, ABHRS is a triple-board certified facial plastic surgeon who has dedicated his career and practice to the treatment of hair loss in both men and women since 2003. He is the Founder and Director of the Anderson Center for Hair in Atlanta where he leads a world-renowned team focusing on artistic concepts in hairline design, patient comfort, and natural, permanent results. 

Dr. Anderson was in private practice in Beverly Hills, California, in 2008 when he was recruited by Emory Healthcare to serve as the Chief of Hair Restoration Surgery. From 2008 to 2011, Dr. Ken Anderson held this position with Emory Healthcare, teaching resident physicians and delivering Grand Rounds presentations to the faculty and staff of the Departments of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and Dermatology. He is currently a Clinical Professor at Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Dermatology, and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA Medical Center) in the Department of Surgery, Division of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Anderson is also an internationally-recognized speaker on the subject of hair restoration, most recently winning the Best Hair Restoration Clinical Case at the 2024 Aesthetic & Anti-aging Medicine World Congress (AMWC) in Monaco. Dr. Anderson also serves on the Editorial Board for the scholarly Journal of Hair: Therapy & Transplantation. He has authored over 20 scholarly publications in high-impact journals including: Nature, Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS), Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery Clinics of North America, and Hair Transplant Forum International.

Roller Hockey: Starting defenseman for Division 1 Roller Hockey Team, University of Michigan Wolverines, 1997 to 2003. Highlight was the Third place finish (Final Four) at the National Championship Tournament in St. Louis, MO, April 2002. Continue to play in a 30 and over men’s league currently.

Ice Hockey: Starting defenseman for University of Pittsburgh Panthers Collegiate Ice Hockey Team. Champions, 1995 Western Pennsylvania College Hockey Association title, defeated alma mater Penn State in finals. Defensive scoring leader, ‘92-‘93 and ‘94-‘95 ice hockey seasons. 1991-1996.
