Dr.Chris Bisanga received his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree in Surgery and obstetrics from Catholic University of Louvain, and completed a residency in Acute Medicine and catastrophes at Princesses’ Paola Hospital In Marche en Famenne, Belgium.

He then moved to the USA where he worked in the hair transplantation field with Dr Paul Rose, Dr Cole, Dr Leavitt and Dr Hartford. Before returning to work in Europe again and being one of the founders of BHR Clinic.

It was in the USA he found that his passion was hair transplantation and to provide the patient with the excellent results that were sometimes lacking, this combined with his bed side manner, understanding temperament and good nature has proved to be important aspects in what he believes necessary in order to provide the patient with the required results.

He is actively involved in studies and research within the Industry and has developed his own methods of extracting grafts and protocol while performing FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction); and presented a lecture at the European Society of Hair Restoration Surgery in Brussels (June 2005) on “FUE and FUT Strip”. As well as training new doctors in the art of hair transplantation technology and helping to train, set up and be the Medical Director of a European HT Clinic before he started BHR. Furthermore he recently presented and undertook a FUE workshop at the ISHRS global meeting in 2012 Bahamas.

Dr Bisanga has gained a reputation as one of the top hair transplant doctors in the world, performing Strip and FUE and some of the hardest repair cases possible to the very highest standards. He takes great pride in his artistry of creating natural hairlines and achieving fullness and helping his patients regain their confidence and a more youthful appearance.

FUE is probably known as his greatest passion but he has also performed the largest FUT grown out result in Europe, some 6000 grafts; FUE he has developed over the years and sincerely believes in his protocol being in the best interest of his patients even if it goes against the beliefs of others.

His extensive training, passion for perfection, and innate aesthetic skills enable him to provide the finest available treatments for hair loss. It is the philosophy of Dr.Bisanga and his staff to provide the highest level of care to his patients in a warm, friendly, caring environment and that this should continue post operatively also.
